length2 to 20 letters.
lettersa to z only. one apostrophe or hyphen inside the word is fine, like don't or well-done.
repeatsno letter more than 3 times in a row.
vowela word needs at least one vowel, so key mashing is turned away.
samethe word on screen cannot be set again.

a basic list of rude words, links and spam words is turned away, also when they hide inside a longer word. it covers things like:
